After being pregnant for 41 weeks it was time to evict our little man. On April 5th i went into UVRMC in Provo, Utah, to be induced. Little did I know it would take another 21 hours of labour before our little bundle of Joy would arrive.
Jackson DeMont Burrows was born on April 6, 2009 at 10:24 a.m. weighing 7 lbs 12 oz and was 20 inches long. Words can never describe the amazing feeling of holding your baby in your arms for the first time. He is everything we hoped for and more... our perfect little man.

Words can never describe the amazing feeling of holding your baby in your arms for the first time. He is everything we hoped for and more... our perfect little man. Because my dad was undergoing cancer treatments in Calgary, Alberta, at the time Jackson was born, my mom couldn't make it down to meet the little guy. We were so so grateful that Bryan's mom was able to come and take care of us all for a few days. She was a huge help!
We all stayed with my Uncle Bruce and Aunt Lo for the first few weeks of Jackson's life. We are so thankful for their generosity!I don't know where we would have gone if it weren't for them!
When Jackson was just a few weeks old we returned home to Canada for the summer. My parents were finally able to meet their grandbaby. My mom came running outside in stocking feet, through the snow, as soon as we pulled up. What a site!
