Thanks to Auntie kerri for giving jackson his pool for his birthday. It has been so so handy in the insane heat down here. The other day it got so hot that i just let Jackson run around outside with just his diaper on... but as you can see, he didn't even think that was a necessary thing to have.
Jackson recently discovered that he fits into my pots and pans cupboard and he will play hide and seek with you for minutes! haha, yes, minutes at one activity is a long time for this little guy.
One of my biggest fears of moving away from my parents was what to do with Jackson when it came time to make a meal. Turns out he fits in our sink very nicely. So he has "splash time" while i make dinner. It sure beats him pulling and pushing at my legs constantly.
Bryan is now into the full swing of things with school and has even had a test already. Last night he got home from studying around 11pm. I have to admit, i do not look forward to his courses getting heavier and him arriving home later and later.
However, he did have a good excuse yesterday and he had taken a couple of hours out of his study time to go computer shopping with me. As if it weren't bad enough that our desk-top computer crashed a few weeks before we left provo, Bryans old laptop that i'd been using crashed 2 days ago. What crummy luck right? but we figure that both are so old that they aren't really worth saving unless we absolutely had to. So we are going to make things work so that we can afford this cumputer that i am typing on right now. Thanks for letting me get it hun!
I'm going to try that sink trick!
ReplyDeleteI must say I have never thought about giving Vienna splash time while I cook! Brilliant! It's hard getting things done in the kitchen when she is grabbing at my legs.
ReplyDeleteJackson is so cute! I wish I could see him in person. And I agree with you about the INSANE heat! It is just as smoking hot here as well! Hope you are doing great and adjusting to Indiana. I sure wish Indiana and Iowa were a little closer together!
