I went for my 32 weeks check-up today and baby girl is growing!!! I was so nervous. I had refused to weigh or try measuring myself for the past 2 weeks because i didnt want to see something negative and be even more nervous going in. So when i had gained 3 pounds (though i wish it were only 2) i was ecstatic! And when she measured me to back on track I was beyond relieved. Thanks for thinking/praying for me- it obviously worked! :)
On to a new topic... last week was reading week for Bryan. Due to my big, fat, pregnant-ness, we werent able to go on any fun adventures/trips. But we got a lot accomplished. We cleaned out the office which bryan will be sharing with the baby for a while and moved our piano downstairs. It gets played a lot more now so i'm glad we moved it. With the wall empty that the crib will go against, bryan was able to paint and design a mural for that wall to match the curtain i made for the room a few weeks ago. (the colors match better than it shows in the picture)
We also rearranged out room so there is room for the pack'n'play in there now as well as the rocking chair bryan bought me.
There were a few really nice days mingled with some gross rainy ones. One nice morning we took off to the zoo. It was so fun to see how much more excited Jackson was to see the animals this year compared to just a few months ago. He knows all the animal sounds and names now. And was really happy to get to go see the elephants and giraffes. Unfortunately, he was so into looking at the animals he wouldnt let me take any good pictuers of him with them. But i tried.
Overall, we just took it easy and relaxed. It was great to have bryan around. He helped me out so much with jackson; getting him dressed, feeding him, cleaning up and entertaining him. He did dishes for me and on saturday he even did most of the cleaning of our house which was an awesome treat. Now it's back to the usual routine and i know i am going to miss having bryan around, but i know a little boy who will miss him even more. I love how much Jackson loves his daddy.
I am so glad that she is growing, great news! I LOVE love love that wall!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that picture of Jackson, with the seal behind him. His eyes & expressions are like.... wooww! what's that behind me. So funny it made me laugh.
