The second big thing is that Jackson pulled himself from sitting to standing for the first time today, by using the side of the tub as leverage. He was trying to grab my razor. He must have just been in the perfect spot to do it, or really determined the first time, because he tried again and tipped sideways or would let go before he got all the way up.
My little boy is changing so quickly. I was talking to McKelle yesterday ( I babysit her son Brigden on Monday evenings while she's at school- him and Jackson are only 2 days apart). I was telling her how quickly Jackson is changing. We came down to Utah just over 2 months ago. At that time Jackson had rolled over maybe twice, wasn't saying consonant sounds at all, and wasn't even really reaching for things. Now my baby can sit on his own, say "ma", "ga" and "ba" very well, reach for things, scoot around, pull himself up, reach for people he wants to hold him and has a tooth! There's probably even more things that I'm leaving out. But it is just so amazing to me how fast he is growing and changing. My baby won't be a baby much longer!
I got a few cute pictures of Jackson and Brigden playing last night. Brigden is a bit ahead of Jackson when it comes to crawling and such. So he uses Jackson as a crawl toy and Jackson steals all of brigden's toys. Lots of fun (really- it is!)
Reading a book together- how sweet
