Auntie Kerri's Visit

We were so lucky to have my sister here for the past week and a half. Mom and dad literally did not exist in our kids eyes. But that's ok, I'm glad they loved having her so much! And of course, I loved it too. It had been over a year since we'd seen each other in person. We went out a bit, but also enjoyed just playing around the house.

Jackson and Kerri sword fighting on the wii.

We headed to the childrens museum one day and had a lot of fun there too.

We spent another day at the indianapolis museum of art. I'd never been before, but the exhibits are free and parking is only $5. I really want to go back when it gets warm out because the grounds seem like they could be a lot of fun to wander around and play in. But for this visit the highlight was the atrium which was filled with big exercise balls filled with a bit of sand.

Just playing cars in the kitchen

 And reading stories

Kerri caught some awesome faces of Katie on her camara

And of course we couldnt miss out on the zoo. Jackson was so excited to take auntie kerri to see the dolphin show.

I know she is plotting something here...

Yesterday it was nice enough for us to go down to the canal walk. Jackson always loves playing with the elephants by the state museum.

The girls. Its not the best picture to show it, but we think that Katie looks a lot like kerri.Katie also got a tooth while kerri was here and started eating yogurt! Katie will now eat gerber puffs, popcorn and yogurt. Hey, at least its something.

Kerri and I promised mom that we'd get a picture for her while we were together. This one is my favorite.

Thank you for coming to see us Kerri! We loved every minute of it and were missing you before you even left. It makes me a bit home sick... ok, a lot homesick. Maybe we'll get to go back this christmas... so cross your fingers!
