Three!

My baby boy turned 3 today!

Jackson is such a wonderful little man. He won't let me call him my baby anymore! And he's right- he is so grown up!

I showed Jackson how to do 3 with his fingers but he came up with this alternative all by himself. He has a hard time holding down his pinkie with his thumb.

Hide and seek is pretty much his favorite game right now. He doesnt get that he cant tell us where he is, and sometimes hides out in the open, but he thinks its great. He's a smart little man and makes me laugh and also amazes me with the things he says at times. Today he was trying to explain to his Aunt kristi why he likes birthday cake and after a few minutes of explaining he realized he wasnt making any sense and said " it just goes over my head!" He's getting very good at his enunciation, and I rarely cant figure what he is saying.

Jackson is a super loving boy. Sometimes he's extra senstive. But nothing makes me happier than when he stops what he's doing to look at me and say " I just love you so much!". Nothing can beat that right?

Jackson is 100% day and night time potty trained now, for over a month. I am so happy! He knows letters and sounds and can count objects to about 20. He's being stubborn at starting to write and has little motivation to learn which number looks like what. I'm thinking of maybe starting some kind of preschool a couple of days a week with some friends his age. Let me know if you're interested. I think if he could see other kids doing it, he'd be more motivated.

Let's go through a few favorites:

Food: chocolate and pizza (not together, though i've never let him try)
Book: any robert munch book
color: blue
song: i am a child of god and twinkle twinkle little star
tv show: curious george
movie: aladdin and Cars
sport: basketball and football

Jackson also loves going for walks and playing on the playgrounds. He's getting a lot better at playing with Katie. But i think that has a lot to do with their ages becoming more compatible. And he is really into doing "magic" and making things disapear (or as he would say "pis-up-here"... I know, bad pronounciation)

This little boy is awesome! We love him so much and are so grateful for him in our lives. He is such an enormous blessing!
